He served as Minister of Information, Posts and Telecommunications, and previously worked at the heart of government as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President.
Beyond public office, he helped build Somalia’s intellectual and educational infrastructure as co-founder of the Heritage Institute for Policy Studies and City University of Mogadishu.
